the pastor in their ministry area of expertise.
The Pastoral Council is an advisory group to the
pastor. It assists him in discerning the mission and vision of the parish by
being aware of the concerns and needs of the parish. The Council is composed of
parishioners elected from the parish. Lind Bingham is the president of the Parish Council.
The Finance Committee is
a consultative body providing advice and recommendations to the pastor
concerning fiscal resources including financial planning to support the mission
of the parish. The establishment of the Finance Committee is required by the
Code of Canon Law. Members of the Finance Committee are appointed by the
pastor. Joe Gavinski is the chairman of this committee.
The Liturgy Council helps
the pastor coordinate seasonal liturgy including: music, banners, processions,
and liturgical ministers.
St. Rita's Committee
advises the pastor on matters dealing with facilities and landscaping. Dee Schwab is the contact person for this committee.
